Short bio

I have been creating artworks on and off for much of my life, but only started to paint regularly since we began the Ravenfield Art Group. I find any form of creating art relaxing, even when it doesn’t work out the way I want. It would be good to create more abstract works but I find this much harder than being representational. Sculpture is another interest especially using paper and card.

I am inspired by many water-colourists such as Roland Hilder and Heaton Cooper. Artists such as  Kurt Jackson, Ann Blockley,  Peter Gilbert, Barbara Hepworth and Naum Garbo   always give me ideas.
